Article: AJ Sun Consulting's Sean Kotzin of the Futures Investment Team (FIT) may be heading for an all time winning streak. “Today's investment market is not just international,” says Kotzin, “but cross-platform. To stay on top of the game, you can't simply be an expert in one field, you really have to become a King of All Trades.” Easier said than done. But a look at Kotzin's portfolio reveals not only a strong diversity in the energies market, ranging from solar panel raw materials to advance purchases of jet fuel, to the less glamorous, but highly lucrative investments in Lithium Iron Phosphate, which is the primary component in today's hybrid cars. He's also invested in Chinese timber, which is in high demand throughout rapidly developing India. “Just look around your house,” Kotzin says with a smile, “everything we have is in demand all through the developing world. People think my investments are risky because there is little room for growth in the United States, but to me that just means they have been time proven here.” But what is less obvious about Kotzin's success is that he made the majority of these investments over fifteen years ago, some even before the fall of Communism…
